Aleksandra is an illustrator from Warsaw, Poland. She mainly creates botanical illustrations, as well as illustrating portraits and fashion. She uses mixed media such as watercolours, coloured pencils and digital painting to create her artwork. The subject of sustainability has become important for her personally, and she decided to incorporate the eco-friendly movement into her products and drawing by creating her own line of illustrated reusable cotton shopping bags. Jamie Squire is an illustrator and comic artist from Manchester. Much of her work tackles the themes of mental health awareness, body positivity and environmental issues. Most recently the focus of her comics has been dismantling societal beauty standards and encouraging those who struggle with self-image to feel comfortable in their own skin. She hopes that her art can speak to some people in ways that words can't. After graduating from the Glasgow School of Art in 2015 she has gone on to work with a number of clients including the BBC, Anxiety UK, Sane Charity, Oldham Council and Gotham Hotel Manchester.

Emma Morris, also known as the 'The Creative Sausage' is generating huge buzz in the illustration world. Emma specialises in charming, honest and quirky hand drawn illustrations.

Emma's work can be seen in children's books, national newspapers and card shops across the world. Her latest project for Scribbler shows a refreshing take on gifting cards by featuring kids from diverse backgrounds and different nationalities.

Emma left a secure job as an in-house designer to pursue freelance illustration and hasn't looked back since.

Ellie is a Kingston Illustration Animation Graduate. Working prolifically in a blend of hand drawn and digital illustration. This blending of traditional and digital image-making methods is distinctive of her work. She believe that utilising both styles together allows her to make use of ‘the best of both worlds’. Beginning with traditional drawings allows her the freedom to incorporate reportage pieces from any area of her work. Digitalising this then provides the opportunity to fine-tune and add detail to these drawings, while also giving her the opportunity to create abstract scenes comprised of real-life figures. She tends to use a limited variety of materials, as she feels that she knows what medium she works best in. However, she still enjoys experimenting with and exploring line quality, shape, texture and colour. Ellie’s affection for books and, more predominantly, illustrated books, has led her to pursuing these stylistic and methodological experiments, as well as playing with both sequential and non-linear narratives. Her joy for illustration stems from a love of traditional drawing and obsession with detail.

Jane is also the creator and curator of Women in Print (womeninprint.uk) an exhibition that aims to spotlight the role women have played in Manchester’s past and present. Meagan Bach is a New Zealand-born mostly London-based graphic designer. She graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2010 with a Bachelor of Design majoring in illustration before exploring the globe and settling in London. Almost six years later, having the privilege to work with brands such as BBC Worldwide and ITV Creative, she now works on-the-road whilst exploring Central and South America. With a two year stint in Hong Kong as a child, and many visits there and beyond since, Asian themes often influence her designs. This influence, combined with a love of kitsch, means she favours a maximalist style of pattern, bold colour combinations and decorative typography over the minimalist tendencies within graphic design.
