#279 Jamie Squire
Jamie Squire is an illustrator and comic artist from Manchester. Much of her work tackles the themes of mental health awareness, body positivity and environmental issues. Most recently the focus of her comics has been dismantling societal beauty standards and encouraging those who struggle with self-image to feel comfortable in their own skin. She hopes that her art can speak to some people in ways that words can't. After graduating from the Glasgow School of Art in 2015 she has gone on to work with a number of clients including the BBC, Anxiety UK, Sane Charity, Oldham Council and Gotham Hotel Manchester.
