Gemina is one of the most stylish women you will ever meet. Both in her work and in what she wears, making her the perfect art director. She's french which means she has balls of steel. Never afraid to speak her mind, Gemina is incredibly intelligent and hard-working, continuously pouring passion into her work. Full of energy, Gemina will always find a way to make you laugh. She is currently smashing it as a Junior Art Director at TBWA. And as well as making stunning work, she takes incredible photos, giving Martin Parr a run for his money.

I'm Jemma's creative partner and I nominate her because she's a real badaaaass. Dyslexic, she overcame her fear of writing to become a superstar junior copywriter at TBWA\London. Now she writes words like no one, and is able to compose all kinds of lines (the tone she masters best? Sassiness). A few years ago, she wrote, produced, designed and starred an Off West End play called 'Beautiful Little Fools'. Alone. Impressive, I know. She's also ultra supportive, ambitious and smart. She's got a big heart and is a great listener. Enough qualities to deserve the official title of badass gal!

Amy and Sacha are advertising graduates, creative partners, and co-founders of their own brand, gen.u.ine cosmetics. Gen.u.ine is believed to be the world’s first gender neutral make-up brand specifically designed for chemotherapy patients. They have received product orders from across Europe, made judges cry with happiness, and been told the brand is ‘industry defining’ by creative news moguls, The Drum. Gen.u.ine is not about glamour or vanity. It is about giving back confidence to people when they need it the most. They aim to allow people to feel like themselves again. To have their identity returned. All with the safe knowledge that their products are safe to use. Making chemotherapy a little less difficult than it already is. They are currently looking for advertising placements in London whilst growing their brand at the same time. They enjoy working on briefs that really make a difference to society. From CO2 saving car seats to deodorant that tests fire alarms, they go the extra mile to make an impact.

I’m a born and bred Londoner who sort of fell backwards into advertising after doing a degree in Medieval Middle Eastern History - perhaps not the most common route in. I founded, branded and ran a successful music magazine for 5 years, falling deep into the indie music scene and managed to resurface for air with a passion for branding, writing and design. After a placement at The Corner and freelancing at Yrs Truly, I found my partner Stella Jonikaite, a fellow East London dweller and frustrated hybrid creative. Since then, we’ve been working above, below, and through every line imaginable, first at Rapp, and now freelance. Our current project sees us branding and advertising an upcoming indie film set to hit film festivals this year. I'd love to work in sports advertising, particularly to combat the misogyny and patronising attitudes in football fanship.
When not creating ads, I have a side hustle of sourcing and selling rare tropical plants. Or you might find me standing on my head at Ashtanga. Or you could also find me at the football - either at Spurs or Leyton Orient.

Not only are these two girls masters of the ping pong table, but they've perfected the art of a killer tofu oreo cheesecake (Isabel makes it and Katy eats it). Oh, and they just happen to make great work as well. Once described as 'a bit bonkers', they love to make work that makes a splash - whether it be making people laugh or making people think.
Giving up cushy jobs as a planner and account person respectively, to chase the creative dream - they haven't looked back since. Winning One's To Watch at D&AD New Blood shows they made the right choice, and it's only the start for them. Chosen for The Big Pitch Off, they were tipped as 'the perfect creative team' by Badass Gal founder himself, so it's clear they've got something special.
Onwards and upwards for these two.

#416 Angela Onyett & Erin Sadler
What this duo lack collectively in height, they make up for in big ideas - and terrible puns. After three years at Falmouth University, they can now be found poorly adapting to city living or inhabiting a Megabus. With a placement at Collective London under their belts and one at JKR approaching be sure they've set their sights on not just advertising, but world domination. When they’re not plotting ways to take down the patriarchy they’ll be taking down the dairy industry instead; creating (Probably) the first underground, black market, vegan milkshake business. Everyone likes a laugh and whether it’s at them or with them these two are down.

Pops is the wordy half of 'Megapops', a creative duo intelligently misbehaving at Creature London. After recognition from D&AD and Cream in 2018, she is fast becoming one of the industry's biggest rising stars. Whether it's a love sonnet to a sofa or a firmly worded email, there's nothing she can't turn her writing skills to. Most recently, Poppy has had her first ever campaign out for London Living Wage and City of London, just a month after being hired full-time. We're all excited to see what she'll do next.

#367 Meghan Shuttlewood
Having graduated from sunny Falmouth University last year, Meghan has taken London by storm, Quiet Storm to be precise, currently placement-ing to her heart’s content there.
She’s an Art Director by trade but can write copy as good as any man, woman or platypus. A true connoisseur of infomercials, Meghan proudly radiates weird, and emanates wacky.
She’s just as comfortable throwing dodecahedrons on the dance floor as she is locked away in her room reading at 562.6 words per minute, which is pretty badass in itself.
