#250 Katia Philip

One of the edgiest souls we know, Katia has brought a new level of creative class to our agency for the past four years. She’s managed to navigate her way through countless campaigns, winning clients, solving problems and nurturing staff to follow in her footsteps.

Katia is creative down to her core, from her trainer collection to statement earrings and home chopped hair. She’s annoyingly effortless and never appears frazzled, even when she’s balancing several clients and hustling her own side projects.

While helping to build our agency from the ground up, she’s been putting some serious graft into developing her DJ skills and is now running her own monthly radio show, Otro Mundo and playing out at nights across London regularly. If that wasn’t enough, her free time is preferably spent painting some pretty impressive graffiti murals wherever she can find the space in London and around the World.

Katia is leaving Seed to take on the new challenge of Head of Marketing at Peckham Levels, which she’ll 100% boss and we’ll be there whenever she’ll let us. Katia is badass to her bones <3.

Otherworldly singer and creative musician Gabby Young is a symbol of overcoming obstacles. Hailing from the UK, Young's music career was fraught with obstacles from bands breaking up to a longstanding battle with cancer that put her voice on the line twice. Following her final voice-threatening surgery, she realizing singing was no longer a choice, but was her life's calling

Gabby’s unique perspective on the world around her is inspired as much by her singularly surreal imagination. Gabby Young and very creative music offer a slew of stunningly beautiful, often haunting songs that are a genre bending explosion of gypsy folk, pop, rock, jazz, cabaret – and a whole lot more. Gabby often collaborates with her creative female friends to produce content and even crowd funded her own animated music videos

BBC6 music states Gabby's music is: "Howling mad and completely irresistible"

The Guardian states: “A gloriously cheerful performer with an entertaining jumble of styles that match her flamboyant image!”

Apart from music Gabby has creates clothing and crafts ranges and always encourages other women to follow their dreams and reach out to other women around you.

Tasmin gets it, she really gets it. She knows how social media works and how to use it to your advantage - and she understands marketing and your Brand. She works hard, puts the hours in and always has our best interests at heart, she usually hussles her way to the front of the queue. Tasmin also works very hard to ensure that the collaborative brands that we work with at NERD share the same ethos as us - diversity and equality, as well as inclusion. She juggles her passions for DJing and dancing as well as her talent for marketing to live a fulfilled and never boring life. She is definitely the perfect candidate.
