Sivamathy is a talented, passionate filmmaker, with a particular interest in character-driven storytelling, cross-cultural experiences, and giving voices to marginalised identities. With expertise spanning the entire production process, she’s looking to make the jump into writing, directing and producing short/feature-length fiction and documentary films. She has also worked extensively in the third sector and education industries, most prominently as a disability rights activist and advocate, and as a digital marketing executive. So, this makes Sivamathy highly skilled in marketing and communications, charity work, and leadership.

Elly is a budding feminist comedy film director and writer, championing films made for women by women. Her most recent project is the pilot episode of up and coming web series Clean Break, a story about an eccentric mother daughter duo who work as cleaners in London, exploring social concerns in contemporary Britain, specifically issues of gender politics, class prejudice, and gentrification. Her priority, aside from the depiction of multi-dimensional, comedic women on screen, was creating a space for diverse cast and crew, hiring 95% of cast and crew who were women and / or from a BME background in hopes of celebrating difference and breaking the exclusivity of traditional filmmaking. The episode was screened to a full theatre at Westfield’s Vue Cinema to high praise and is being entered into international film festivals. She has also directed a short documentary, 'DJanes', focused on exploring the lives of inspiring female London DJs, with the intent of bringing visibility to a group of colourful, gutsy women whose stories reflect both the ongoing issue of sexism within the electronic music scene and to serve as a piece of empowerment and motivation for women across all industries.
