It was whilst watching an episode of Friends, more specifically the one where Chandler gets a new job, that the prospect of a career in advertising became apparent for Charlotte. “Cheese, it’s milk that you chew” and “grapes, because who can fit a watermelon in their mouth?” became her first, albeit, quite poor, glimpse into copywriting.

You’ll now find her acing it as a copywriter at Digitas London where she works on Kellogg’s, but more importantly she’s one of the most amazing creative minds you’ll meet in the industry.

Charlotte’s talent can be seen from the work she does in the industry, where she always brings the idea back to a true insight or to her love of entrepreneurial thinking. She has a list longer than both of her arms of ideas, companies and products she wants to create.

When she’s not out climbing a hill in the countryside, you’ll find her helping young talent to find their way in the creative industries. As part of the core London YCC team Charlotte helps host events, come up with new ones, does uni talks and is always there to give book crits and advice whenever (don’t be afraid to drop her a line).

This industry needs more females and more importantly female role models and Charlotte is definitely one of them. I really look forward to seeing the creative director that Charlotte will become because she’ll be one of the best CD’s people will ever work with.

Oh and one last thing go read her blog post called ‘The Death Diaries’ it’s shocking and addictive at the same time.
