#IWD2020

It’s that time of year again, and there’s been a lot of great (and not so great) International Women’s Day content out there this week, but we wanted to share a few of our favourites - just in case you missed them.

SHE SAYS - #SPAMFOREQAULITY

With this year’s theme for IWD being Each for Equal - SheSays want companies to pledge to make their parental leave policy more equal, in whatever way they can, before International Women’s Day 2021.

“The UK government states women have the right to up to 52 weeks maternity leave, whilst men might be eligible for up to two weeks”

So, they’re going to anonymously email your CEO for you, with their project #SpamForEqaulity

LOST TIME PROJECT

The gender pay gap currently stands at 17.3% in the UK. Which means women effectively work for free for 63 days of the year.

So, these two London based creatives: Alice Murray & Lauren Priestley have created the Lost Time project to spark action and conversation around the gender pay gap.

They’ve created this one of a kind print for you to put up in your wall or your office. And if you buy two, they’ll send one to your CEO for free.

#SafetyInANumber by BBH LONDON

Domestic abuse affects almost 1 in every 3 women. So, this week Refuge took over Twitter & the Piccadilly lights to launch their #SafetyInANumber campaign to drive awareness of the National Domestic Abuse Helpline - the helpline runs 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Created by BBH London, house-hold names including Lorraine Kelly, Miranda Hart and Jess Glynn changed their Twitter names to be the number of the helpline, 0808 2000 247.
