It’s been a little whilst since we’ve done one of these, but now we’re back in the swing of working (from home). And this week we wanted to share all the amazing projects we’ve seen coming out of lockdown.
COVID-EO-CRITS
As all agencies are now working from home, book crits have been cancelled, job interviews postponed and placements few and far between. However, the Young Creative Council have launched COVID-EO-CRITS, a weekly book crit over zoom where creatives can get feedback on their portfolio whilst in lockdown.
So if you’re a creative looking for some feedback on your work, or you’re a creative with some spare time to offer to help out junior creatives then please register below.
NOT FUR’ LONG
Instead of using lockdown to perfect the art of baking sourdough or start yet another podcast, these furloughed ad folk have set up Not Fur’ Long, an agency to help small and medium sizes businesses who have been affected by the pandemic.
The team, made up of strategists, client services and creatives are dedicating their now, free time to offering strategic and creative support to SME’s.
If you’re a creative who now has some free time and would like to volunteer to help, or your business has been affected by the pandemic and you’re looking for some support do get in touch with the team.
GREETINGS FROM LOCKDOWN
Chicago based advertising creatives Robyn Frost and Victoria Rosselli have created these beautiful series of postcards, reframing how we see our homes during quaratine.
Crowd sourced from friends, the postcards feature homes in different cities across the world. And could even feature your own home, if you tweet a photo.
Check out the series below.
GIVE A SHEET
“GIVE-A-SHEET is a worldwide call for the creative community to unite its talents in the battle against COVID-19, leveraging artists from the four corners of the world. The principle? Because toilet paper has become the new safe haven currency, there’s no reason artists shouldn’t make it their new best canvas. The initiative not only aims to raise funds to tackle the pandemic, but also aims to inspire everyone out there to hold on and stay home, with a simple little piece of art (and humour).”
CORONA THANK YOU NOTES
Creature London have created the Corona Thank You Notes - “A simple way to say thank you to the key-workers who are keeping the lights on - sometimes literally.”
