Sarah has fought her way into the role she wanted – from relentlessly interning, to overcoming redundancy by freelancing, she can now claim that she’s finally landed her dream job as an Art Director. From starting out in a team where she was the only one without a beard, she now feels very much at home in Impero’s fierce all-female creative department.
Since joining Impero, she’s won pitches for MoneySuperMarket, For Goodness Shakes and, most importantly, UGG – the first fashion client Impero has ever won. She is one of the lead creatives for Lindor and Beefeater Gin, an account on which she has helped double their following in the past 6 months. Sarah is Impero’s only full-time Art Director, meaning she is in high demand – from developing innovative and exciting creative ideas to styling beautifully curated shoots. She's proved to be incredibly resourceful regardless of challenges, crafting her skills on small budget in-house productions at the back of the office all the way up to directing huge large-scale shoots of 20 + crew.
She’s passionate about celebrating good creative ideas; she spearheaded her agency’s first ever entry into the Chip Shop awards as well as having receiving six different nominations, three of which won or were highly commended.
As well as client work, Sarah has worked with London Air Ambulance to develop pro-bono ideas and fundraising events for after they saved the life of a colleague.
On a personal level Sarah is the kind of person that any team would be lucky to have. She’s fun, bright, and she brings her own unique perspective to everything she does, and she’s definitely not adverse to a bit of hard work. She’s passionate about what she does, and it shows within everything she creates.
