Kristina is a rising star, by day acting as a multi-disciplinary advertising creative and content strategist specialising in travel, luxury, and lifestyle sectors, and by night, a culture enthusiast interested in the formation of social classes and identities.
Her journey in digital storytelling started with a humorous blog. Founded in 2016, Brits & Russkies spotlighted her creative writing and illustration skills. A journal dedicated to the exploration of distinctions between two cultures, the site’s stats were skyrocketing in the year of its inception, hitting over 10k views with her first entries. Its aim was to shed light on and provide historical justifications for the ‘backwardness’ of Russian people.
Finding herself to be passionate about advertising and design while earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Media & Cultural Studies, Kristina has undertaken two summer internships in digital marketing in award-winning start-up companies and explored the world of Adobe Creative Cloud when free from studying.
Combining her academic passion and professional aspirations, she applied for an MA in Luxury Brand Management. Having graduated with Distinction from Master’s and First-Class from her Bachelor’s qualification, she became a part of a brand strategy team in a leading advertising agency in Clerkenwell, mr.h, just within a few weeks of finishing her degree.
Fluent in Estonian, Russian and English, Kristina was initially hired to produce promotional copy and assist in digital marketing activities. In a matter of months, Kristina excelled using the Adobe suite and tested her skills in creative direction. Within a year, she was promoted from marketing intern to Creative Content Strategist.
On duty, Kristina strategises marketing campaigns and crafts content for luxury and travel brands, while in her free time she continues to explore her academic fields of interest. It is the belief that ‘Life rewards those who work hard at it.’ and ‘Do everything to the best of your ability.’ that has empowered and inspired her throughout her life.
