Emma is a creative newcomer with an interesting backstory, now working mainly in creative production, strategy and interiors. She has worked on multiple editorial and commercial projects but was in fact a medical doctor in a past life
Knowing that she almost certainly wouldn't practice medicine forever, she left the profession after 3 years to work as corporate strategy consultant at KPMG.
This proved an invaluable experience for Emma as, not only was it a crash course in the BTS of big business, but it also highlighted personally that creative expression needed to feature in her day to day.
She is now pursuing her creative interests professionally, focused particularly on shoot production, interiors production and interior styling. Unafraid to start again, Emma has retrained in interior design and will complete her styling qualification this year from renowned arts and design college Central Saint Martins.
Her proudest moment this year is having teamed up with LSE and the ESRC for her first independent freelance project - an exhibition - which pushed the boundaries of her production and curation skills. This was while simultaneously working on design, interiors and writing projects - the fruits of which she is excited to share, as well as produce and take on more compelling opportunities in the future.
