Co-founder and director of the growing network, Black Females in Architecture (BFA), Neba empowers young black and black-mixed heritage women in fields of architecture, planning, construction and urbanism.
Through workshops, projects and design trips, she continues to create spaces for young black women who lack in support, access and knowledge of the built environment. In architecture, planning and building, which is predominately (white) male dominated, of all first degree students Black Africans and Caribbeans are the lowest proportion of BAME women. Alongside her other co-founders Akua, Alisha and Selasi she hopes to improve the stats.
