Natasha’s creative fire has burned brightly despite pressure to focus on science and bullies ridiculing her shyness. A teacher recognised her talent for writing that led to a school play; written and directed by Natasha aged 13. Its success catalysed her creative journey.
She started her theatre company aged 17, Ingenium Dramatics; all profits going to local charities. Performing original and well known plays, it gave young people in Hyderabad, India a taste for the arts. She recognised talent and gave them an outlet for their creativity. Inspired, some are now successful professionals in the art industry.
Based in London now, she continues to foster talent, write, teach, edit & adapt scripts and direct. Passionate about gender and racial equality; she challenges stereotypes by telling and delivering representative, diverse and modern stories. She especially enjoys working with young people, running confidence and drama workshops encouraging expression through creativity.
