Janet took an empty building in Pocklington, rural East Yorkshire, and turned it into one of the region's most thriving arts centres and cultural hubs (Pocklington Arts Centre). She programmed over 750 events, staged numerous festivals and raised £1 million in public funding. This is Badass territory in my view and she deserves the acknowledgement.
