Zoe Mallett - #BadassGal - Badass.Gal

#587 Zoe Mallett

Zoe is amazing! She is an ICF accredited coach and podcast host, who helps some of London’s most pioneering female creatives, founders and business owners excel in their space by arming them with fundamental self-development techniques to help them reach their full potential - including some of the wonderful women on the Badass Gal site.

Zoe's mission is to fill the world with people knowing and loving themselves. She works to make coaching accessible for everyone and gives a large portion of time to creating initiatives that support this - including monthly collaborations with Woman to Woman, and Note to Self. She has also set up a coaching scheme called Coach Hood for young people that wouldn't usually have access to this kind of service.

Because her work never stops (!), she's recently been announced as a radio resident on Foundation FM Cut. Her show 'Cut the Bullsh*t' Zoe brings her vibrant and relatable no-nonsense approach to the female-fronted radio station, tackling her followers’ life issues, covering career goals and confidence blockers to toxic friendships, finding love and managing difficult family relationships.

Zoe is one of the great ones behind the scenes and it's about time she was recognised too!

Pilar Rubio - Badass.Gal - #BadassGal

#551 Pilar Rubio

I am 22 y/o, born and bred in Spain, and have lived in the UK for about seven years. I am a creative producer with experience in PR, marketing, social media, brand identity development, illustration; sales and design. Motivated and passionate digital content creator and fashion designer. I graduated from London College of Fashion, UAL, for BA Creative Direction for Fashion. I own WOLFFTHELABEL, a bespoke, sustainable, made to order clothing brand that aims to empower and lift women of all sorts, to represent and communicate what truly means to be fierce, bold and beautiful. Although the brand has a strong feminist ethos, we cater men too.

I initially created WOLFFTHELABEL because I wanted to tell a story, I wanted to create a community of fierce young people; create my own pack, a #wolffpack. I want to build a brand, a platform, a safe place; for young people all around the world, to relate, feel welcomed, feel represented; to embrace beauty in their own way. To provide that feeling of belonging. My focus is on making women and men feel fierce, bold and sexy. To encourage them to be and do better for themselves. WOLFFTHELABEL aims to provide sustainable products, packaging and bold creativity. I am glad to share that I will be launching a new collection very soon and I look forward to growing my #wolffpack.

I truly believe that if you stay resilient and stay hungry for success, anyone, anywhere; can achieve what they set their minds to do.

Faryal Ali

Syeda Faryal Ali

Faryal is a storytelling machine, give her any brief and she'll come back with a story carved around it. She started an accidental career in advertising at BBDO and hasn't looked back since. From gripping copy to brilliant executions, her creativity is as fresh as it gets. She's a strong believer in living through life, rather than merely living life. Converting her passion for storytelling, at 26 she started her own company called SOLO, set to empower solo travellers across the world! This app in the making, intends to connect solo travellers to one another, to share and experience a solo trip, together. This stemmed from her personal experience when she was granted a FULBRIGHT award to pursue her Masters in Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University, where interestingly Faryal chose to travel every third weekend.
At the conclusion of her program, Faryal had traveled 3 countries, 17+ states and 30 cities in only 18 months, alongside a brand new startup, a newly acquired degree and another challenge waiting to be conquered. She knows how to make the best out of every situation (even if it is a travel-focused startup in a pandemic-struck world), how to never give up and how to always fight for what's right - which makes her truly Badass!
