Sophie Ogunyemi
Sophie is Head of Strategic Marketing at Hoodies for the Homeless (hfth). hfth ran their first campaign last winter with the mission to raise awareness and support London’s homeless community by matching donations of much needed clothing to Crisis UK every time someone bought one of their sustainable hoodies. The hoodies are made from 100% recycled material – 40% recycled cotton and 60% polyester from recycled plastic bottles. After a successful launch, hfth hope to run again in the coming winter so keep an eye out.
Sophie’s currently hard at work on an initiative to ensure music making is more inclusive and accessible in her role as Marketing & Comms Manager of the Take it away music scheme at Creative United. She’s recently worked on collating and publishing the first guide to Adaptive Musical Instruments which showcase 80+ instruments and products, many of which have been specifically designed to make music more accessible to disabled players of all ages.
