Anayis Der Hakopian
Anayis is a fiercely dedicated and unique animator and the hardest working person I've ever met. Always ready to try new things and create quirky and emotional story driven work; she's set to start at the RCA this month in MA Narrative Animation. On top of helping support her family and creating personal work, Anayis is always looking for commissions and new ways to support her fellow animators, students and graduates. Over the last two years Anayis has established and maintained a community for Middlesex University Animation students past and present called MDX_SAGA, and has recently been in charge of organising and curating a screening of student work before every film at the Alexandra Palace drive-in by Rooftop Film Club. She has been continually generous, outgoing and kind towards her peers and contemporaries, and deserves much more recognition for the work she puts in for others.
